This Diploma program prepares students for entry-level positions in the electrical field through hands-on labs and instruction in electrical safety, wiring, and troubleshooting. Coursework begins with electrical safety and industry standards, teaching students to maintain a safe working environment and apply practices that prevent hazards while staying compliant with regulations. Students then build practical skills in residential and commercial wiring, working in an industry-standard lab setting to diagnose and repair electrical systems. The program is built to give students foundational, real-world skills for entry into electrical work.

This Diploma program provides hands-on training for entry-level work in residential and commercial HVAC systems, aligned with national HVAC skill standards. Coursework covers residential and light commercial heating and cooling, refrigeration and freezer systems, and domestic air conditioning appliances, along with the core components such as evaporators, compressors, condensers, and expansion devices. Students also study indoor air quality standards and compliance while preparing for EPA Section 608 certification testing, required for work on refrigerant-based systems. Training combines hands-on lab work with real HVAC equipment alongside troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair instruction. Graduates leave prepared for roles such as commercial HVAC technician or residential HVAC technician.

This Diploma program can be completed in as few as 9 months and builds practical skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility repair. Coursework covers electrical systems and facility maintenance alongside small power equipment and appliances, carpentry and finishing, and plumbing, with training in OSHA and LEED standards folded in as well. All instruction takes place in hands-on lab settings that simulate real job conditions, preparing students to work across residential, commercial, or industrial maintenance settings. Graduates leave prepared for roles such as facility maintenance technician, building maintenance technician, general maintenance and repair technician, or residential maintenance assistant.
